Since I started playing on the Excelsior Shared I have been amazed at the level of friendly people looking to help me progress. I played UO when it first came out, and enjoyed it very much. Since then I have tried many different shards even paying on a few, nothing has been as cool as this experience. The Atmosphere is catchy, already I have found myself helping out new players and introducing them to my new friends. Try this Shard!

Excelsior is a very smooth running shard. I have been playing on Excelsior for 3 years and still have an abundance of options and content to still explore. The staff is always around to help if needed and there is good, solid custom content that enhances Excelsior's familiar but still refreshingly unique atmosphere. With no Skill Caps, it is possible to create exactly the type of Character that fits your style. New players are usually greeted when they first arrive (by current players) and given a small tour of new player content. Excelsior has a lot of custom content geared toward helping new players get a foothold. It's well worth at least visiting because you will almost surely stay.

This is a wonderful shard with tons and friendly, helpful players. Reminds me of the good ol' days playing UO. Great staff, great community, loads of custom quests and fun things to do. Check it out! You wont regret it.
